I have this problem whenever I try to write down numbers in word form. I usually end up having to stop and think about how the numbers are spelled and how some numbers start with a letter that is just close enough to the digit that I want to write the digit instead. Fours and Fives are TERRIBLE for this, but Sixes are also a pain in the ass. It’s only ever when I write it by hand. I don’t have this problem when I’m typing at all.

This is a problem when I write checks. For example, today it took me three tries to write out “Six Thousand and Seventy Five” (on a check at work. I don’t have that kind of money).

Does anybody else have this problem?

I am a southern gentleman, a musician, and a lawyer-in-training, although perhaps not in that order. This is where I put things I like, which makes this space remarkably similar to a scrapbook- albeit one filled with classical music (and other music I like), assorted pictures of tattooed hot men, politics, and pop culture, again perhaps not in that order.
